Stewards' Decisions Penalties imposed
The Stewards imposed Pit Lane drive through Penalties on Car #8, N Percat/M Jones, for each of the following breaches:
- Failing to obey the red light at Pit Exit during a Safety Car period in breach of Article 6.3 of Schedule B2; and
- Being at least two (2) Laps behind the lead Car, failing to reposition itself by driving through the Pit Lane during a Safety Car deployment to ensure that it is not in front of any Car that is less than two (2) Laps behind the lead Car.

The DRD having received a report from Supercars Technical staff during the Race that Team personnel were seen working under Car #19, J Le Broq/J Webb, when it was elevated in its Pit Garage and when incompressible jacks were not under the Car as required by Rule D11.8.2, and the Team having subsequently admitted the breach, the Stewards imposed a Penalty of the Loss of Thirty (30) Teams Championship Points and a Fine of $3,000 on Tekno Autosports.

Following receipt of a report from Supercars Officials that the following Drivers were not present at the pre-race red carpet presentation as required by the Promotional Schedule and Article 6.1 of the Supplementary Regulations, and an admission to the breach in each case, the Stewards imposed a Fine on each Driver in the sum of $1,000:
- Cameron Waters;
- Mark Winterbottom;
- Richie Stanaway;
- Steve Owen.

Stewards' Decisions Penalties imposed
Having received multiple reports and an assessment of Supercars Telemetry Data by the S&TD, the DRD conducted a post-session investigation into an allegation that the wheels of Car #78 were spinning between the time the Car left and ground and the time it was returned to the ground during a Pit Stop in breach of Rule D11.8.8. Following an admission to the breach, the Stewards imposed a Fine of $3,000 (of which $1,000 is suspended until 31/12/18) on Motorsport Holdings Pty Ltd.

Matters from Race for Grid 2 for Race 24
Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations
In response to a request from Garry Rogers Motorsport and Matt Stone Racing Pty Ltd into an Incident between Car #34, James Golding, and #35, Todd Hazelwood, between Turns 9 and 12, the DRD reviewed Judicial Camera Footage from Car #34 and #35, and determined that the matter did not warrant being referred to the Stewards.

Following a request for investigation from Chasports Racing Pty Ltd into an alleged Incident between Car #18, Lee Holdsworth, and #34, James Golding, at Turn 9 on Lap 9, the DRD reviewed Judicial Camera Footage from Car #18 and Car #34. No Incident was observed.

Matters from Race for Grid 1 for Race 24
Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations
The DRD conducted a post-Race investigation into an Incident involving Car #7, Aaren Russel, Car #8, Macauley Jones, Car #9, Luke Youlden, and #5, Dean Canto, at Turn 4 in response to a request received from Tickford Racing Pty Ltd. Following a review of the Judicial Camera Footage from Cars #7, #8 and #9, as well as Television Broadcast Footage, the DRD determined that no Driver was wholly or predominately to blame for the Incident.

The DRD conducted a post-race investigation into an alleged Incident between Car #2, Warren Luff, and #35, Bryce Fullwood, in response to a request received from Matt Stone Racing Pty Ltd. Following a review of the Judicial Camera Footage from Car #2 and #35, the DRD determined that the Incident did not warrant being referred to the Stewards.

Matters from Qualifying for Race for Grid 1 for Race 24

Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations
In response to a request for investigation received from Triple Eight Race Engineering Pty Ltd into an allegation that Car #5, Mark Winterbottom, impeded Car #888, Craig Lowndes, at Turn 9 during Qualifying for Race for Grid 1 for Race 24, the DRD reviewed the Judicial Camera Footage from Car #888 and DRD determined that the matter did not warrant being referred to the Stewards.

In response to a request from WAU Racing Pty Ltd into an allegation that Car #7, Andre Heimgartner, impeded Car #2, Scott Pye, when Car #2 was on a flying lap at Turn 10 during Qualifying for Race 1 for Grid 1 for Race 24, the DRD conducted an investigation into the Incident, including a review of Judicial Camera Footage from Car #2. Following an admission to a breach of Schedule B2 Article 2.1.1 Careless Driving - the Stewards imposed a three (3) Grid Spot Penalty on Car #7 in Qualifying Race for the Grid 1 for Race 24.

Following the session the DRD conducted an investigation into an alleged breach by Tekno Autosports of Rule A4.4 (Competitor responsible for all safety aspects of the Team including that Competitor's car at all times) after the right front wheel dislodged from Car #19 in the vicinity of Turn 12-13. After an admission to the breach, the Stewards imposed a fine of $5,000 on Tekno Autosports of which $2,000 is suspended until 31 December 2018.
