The DRD conducted post-Race investigations into the following matters:
- In response to a request received from Tim Blanchard Racing Pty Ltd, an Incident at the exit of Turn 14 on Lap 3 when after contact with the rear of Car #21, Macauley Jones, by Car #3, Garry Jacobsen, Car #21 collided with the wall causing the Safety Car to be deployed. The Stewards having received a report from the Head of Motorsport that Car #15 was discovered in Parc Ferme not to have had a Judicial Camera card installed in breach of Rule D20.3, and Motorsport Holdings Pty Ltd admitting to the breach, the Stewards imposed a Penalty of the Loss of 50 2019 VASC Teams Championship Points on Motorsport Holdings Pty Ltd.

- In response to a request received from Garry Rogers Motorsport alleging that Car #5 made contact with Car #33 at Turn 13 on Lap 1. Following a review of the Judicial Camera footage from Car #5 and hearing the evidence of the Driving Standards Advisor, no breach of the Rules was observed.

The Stewards imposed a post-Race 5 second Time Penalty on Car #23, Will Davison, to be added to Car #23's race time in Race 5 for a breach of Article 2.1.1 of Schedule B2 (Careless Driving) for failing to leave racing room for Car #34 at Turn 3 on Lap 3, the DRD having reviewed Judicial Camera footage of the Incident from Cars #7, #23, #34 and #99 and the Driver of Car #23 having admitted the breach.

The Stewards imposed a Fine of $5,000 and Loss of 30 Teams Championship Points on Triple Eight Race (Engineering) Pty Ltd for a breach of Rule A4.4 (Safety) in connection with an Incident during Race 5 when a wheel from Car #97 departed Car #97 when Car #97 was on circuit.

On Sunday 17 March 2019 the Stewards, having summonsed the Authorised Representatives and Drivers of Car #33, Richie Stanaway, and Car #5, Lee Holdsworth, conducted a Hearing to consider a Charge of a breach of Article 2.1.3 of Schedule B2 Code of Driving Conduct (Dangerous Driving) by the Driver of Car #33 in Race 5 involving contact with Car #5 at Turns 4 and 5 on Lap 3. The Stewards found the breach established and imposed the following Penalty:

Matters from Race 4:
Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations
The DRD conducted a Post-Race investigation into a suspected breach of Article 3.12.1 of Schedule B2 (a Driver must not consistently cut corners by driving over the inside of kerbs or off the Race Track surface) by the Driver of Car #35, Todd Hazelwood, which had been observed to have twice short-cutted the circuit at Turn 12 by driving inside the apex kerb. After a review of Judicial Camera footage from Car #35 and Car #7 and an interview of the Driver of Car #35 who explained that he was struggling to control his Car due to damage sustained in an earlier Incident, the DRD determined that the matter did not warrant referral to the Stewards.

The Stewards imposed a 5 second Time Penalty on Car #34, James Golding, for a breach of Article 2.1 of Schedule B2 (Careless Driving) for an Incident at the end of lap 1 at the exit of Turn 16 when Car #34 moved significantly to the right of the Track to block Car #7, Andre Heimgartner.

Following a Post-Race investigation by the DRD and after an admission by the Driver of Car #33, Richie Stanaway, the Stewards imposed a 5 second Post-Race Time Penalty on Car #33 for a breach of Article 2.1 of Schedule B2 (Careless Driving) for contact with Car #5, Lee Holdsworth, at Turn 6 on Lap 2 as a result of which Car #5 was pushed off the Race Track surface and lost positions.

The DRD determined that the matter did not warrant referral to the Stewards because Car #8 had not left racing room for Car #2.

Stewards' Decisions Penalties imposed
The Stewards imposed a Penalty of the Loss of 30 Teams Championship Points and a Fine of $3,000 on WAU Racing Pty Ltd for a breach of Rule D11.7.2 (Failed to ensure all parts and equipment were under the complete control of the Designated Pit Crew during any Pit Stop) after broadcast footage revealed that a wheel from Car #2, Scott Pye, bounced into the path of Car #8, Nick Percat, during Car #2's Pit Stop on Lap 10 of the Race.
