Davison brothers reunite for 2019 Enduro Cup
The Davison brothers have reunited again for the 2019 Enduro Cup, as Milwaukee Racing's Will Davison will be joined by brother Alex for the three-event series later this year.

On the back of top ten finishes in each of the season's first six races, Will heads into the Tasmania SuperSprint fourth in Supercars points, showing enormous potential for the 23Red Racing squad in the early stages of the year.

"It's great to be back with Will and 23Red Racing," said Alex, the elder Davison, who will make his 15th start in the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 this October. "They punched above their weight last year and obviously have made huge strides as a customer of Tickford Racing and are off to a great start this year. I have no doubts they'll continue to improve throughout the year and we'll be right in the thick of it come the Enduros."

In 2018, the Davison brothers scored two top 12 finishes from three Enduro Cup races, including 11th at the Sandown 500.

With the successful start to 2019 and 23Red Racing's move to Tickford Racing as a customer entry, the team's adaptation to the Ford Mustang Supercar has paid dividends, with Will being a regular frontrunner in the early going. Contesting his fourth Enduro Cup alongside his brother, Will looks forward to getting the opportunity again to take on the Enduro Cup with Alex.

"I am super excited to have the chance to work with Alex again," Will remarked. "It's pretty special to have the chance to drive with your brother. He did an exceptional job last year, so continuity on this front will serve us well, especially as this year we go straight into the Bathurst 1000. As a team we are in great shape and this is 100% our best chance to achieve great things together."

"It's good to have Alex back as our Enduro driver for 2019," said 23Red Racing team owner Phil Munday, "and I'm sure he will give it a red hot go! He and Will work well together and obviously the car has been strong out of the box so we're optimistic of a very good Enduro season."

Alex Davison will turn his first laps in the Milwaukee Racing Ford Mustang on Friday, 5 April in an additional driver practice session at the Tasmania SuperSprint, before handing the helm back to Will for first practice ahead of Races 7 and 8 of the Virgin Australia Supercars season.
