Triumphant return!
Percat started well and quickly moved into 5th. After finding a rhythm early on in the race he managed to gap the drivers behind him and focused on catching the front runners. They pitted long in the first stop to enable Nick to resume in clear air. The strategy worked, following his second mandatory stop he had a solid gap on the group behind him. In the closing stages of the race Percat managed to move past Whincup to claim 4th position.

Next stop is the only international race on the Supercars calendar, the ITM Auckland SuperSprint. The team are eager to keep this momentum as we head to Auckland on the 13th-15th of September.

THE WORD FROM NICK
"I am stocked, that's my best finish this year and we were the lead Holden. This is a credit to the team and their perseverance. Its been a tough year but we haven't given up and today the hard work paid off. There is still a lot of racing to go and we need to remain focused on the events ahead."
